2021 Topps x Nashville Stars

Topps has, once again, teamed up with Music City Baseball and the Negro League Baseball Museum to issue a series of cards highlighting artists who support this worthy cause - pursuing to become the first MLB franchise to honor a team name from the Negro Leagues.

MLB recognized the Negro Leagues as a Major League in late 2020, but we see the need for the Nashville Stars to take the field once again, at the highest level of professional baseball. Because through our National Pastime, we can continue to build bridges for a better, more equitable society for all.

Our featured artist is Mitchell Tenpenny, a singer/songwriter from Nashville, TN, who grew up going to games at Greer Stadium and played baseball growing up. Tenpenny was nominated at the 2019 ACM Awards for “New Male Artist of the Year” and the 2019 CMT Music Awards for “Breakthrough Video of the Year”.
