The madness ensued on a bases-loaded Mitch Moreland lineout to right fielder Adam Eaton, who threw a laser to first baseman Jose Abreu. Abreu applied a tag on Ian Desmond for out two, and then threw the ball home, forcing Prince Fielder into a rundown and tag out by Todd Frazier to complete the unorthodox triple play.
