Anakin Skywalker started life off as a slave on Tatooine. After being discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin became a Jedi Padawan, and later, an incredibly powerful Jedi Knight, serving as a hero of the Republic throughout the Clone Wars. Through a journey of challenge and loss, Skywalker ultimately gave in to temptation and became the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader.
